Well since the root worm beetles will lay their eggs in GMO soybeans as well as corn, You need insecticide. The GMO corn is about to it's end of protection anyway so you better prepare for the inevitable. I have a neighbor that the rootworms are not controlled in traited corn so he has gone to Non GMO and insecticide.
