The rootworms have run their cycle and laid their eggs in 2023. So, I think you need to treat it as if there was corn in that field in 2023.  The questions:  

Are you set up to apply a planter applied insecticide? Can you get enough control from that for non-GMO corn in 2024?  

Do you want to run a second year of soybeans in 2024? 

Do you want to just plan on GMO corn in 2024?  

I think those are your options.

I think i will plant gmo corn.

For future reference, at what point does all volunteer need to be killed to avoid this problem?
