NW IL | That happened to my brother. He had worked at some dealers and was trained at diesel tech school. Had his own tool set, got hired by a local farmer to rebuild a tractor over the winter. My brother made more than double what he had been making at the dealer, and the farmer's labor bill was 1/6 of what the dealer was asking.
Great off season work for my brother. Might be hard to find enough work to keep busy full time, but if your schedule is flexible it could work out well. | |
