So you saying that we just need Iowa and Illinois to raise corn? There’s a lot of land that has corn on it yearly that doesn’t have tile. Here we had some snow and what didn’t blow in the road ditches melted slowly and did us some good for sub moisture. However I look at ponds and see how they have been recharged. Most in my area are still fairly low. So as far as I’m concerned: Until water runs out of the drain pipe of the pond dams then we are far from being recharged. And how likely is it that all the U.S. corn fields gets 3-5 inches of moisture?
