CNY | My cattle are in a pack barn and eat outside on a concrete lot in inclement weather. Feed round bales and grain by the bucket. When we get rainy cold weather and their hides get soaked, the amount of hay grain and bedding I use goes through the roof. The feed use will stay up for awhile even after the crappy weather ends as they get caught back up. Don’t have hard numbers for you, but I know if I ever built something everything would be under cover & have it so I only let them out when it’s dry. | |
