Subject: Monoslope or any cattle barn guys

SE Iowa
For those of you that put up a cattle barn or monoslope in the last 10-20 years.. how did you justify it? All I see is how it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars and that seems hard to overlook without some concrete numbers. And I know I’ve heard all the it’s so nice to have a roof over them when it snows or when it’s muddy or hot they don’t go off feed or get dirty Or the manure is maybe more valuable.. etc. and I don’t want to say I discredit that or blame guys for doing it I’m sure all those things are nice. But at some point it has to come down to dollars and cents. If your spending that kind of money on a barn how is that barn making you the money and more back? I’m just asking for real life examples of a full turn of cattle having a better rate of gain or maybe same rate of gain and much better feed efficiency or SOME sort of real world examples of them making the investment back. Thanks
