I handle 5’ wide round bales with 48” pallet forks fairly often. Sometime it is a better option than spears. Yes softer material bales can be speared with forks if the forks are really low on the bale. Won’t work in the middle.
BE CAREFUL HANDLING ROUND BALES WITH PALLET FORKS!! NO BYSTANDERS!!
