Hi Gary,
Feeding tylosin is mentioned in the article as "the most effective antibiotic control" but it's still an antibiotic with resistance and food chain carryover concerns. The three universities are researching other non-antibiotic solutions. Increasing roughage to reduce rumen acidity is an obvious one but not real popular in many locations and systems.
