Well I want you to know that I did not purchase the tractor new. I did not pay 120,000 dollars. Also, we do not experience the extended cold weather very often. If I can buy a block heater for 10 dollars I am all in.but will pay a lot more. I also have a regular job and generally feed during the late evening and plugging in make it 1-2 hours later. I remember the tractor that the block heater pug caught on fire and always want to be close when plugged in. However, you are right I need a block heater for piece of mind and will if it does not have one already built in. I will say wind seems to be a bigger problem than temperature and when I put it in a insulated but unheated shop it cranked perfect.
