Iowa | Mine (blue box) is in a heated shop and it just takes too long to warm the calf in my opinion. 25-30 minutes in the sauna and he is warmed from the inside out. if you have ever sat in a far infrared sauna you would understand. I bought it for my bad back to relax the muscles, my wife uses to get warmed up after being out in the cold. We get in, turn temp to 125 degrees, set timer at 22 minutes and get out completely warmed up. Knowing how it warmed us up I decided to try it on calves one year that we had 4 laying in the living room trying to get them warmed up. worked great. The trick is warming them from the inside out. Since we moved to town, I need to get one for the shop office before we calf this year.
