I discovered an absolutely fool proof calf warmer. Takes no electricity or heater of any kind. Furthermore it is made for the outdoors so you rid yourself of upkeep, taxes, insurance and depreciation on a building used a few weeks a year. Also bedding, removal of said bedding, equipment to do so (and repairs, depreciation, etc.) Shows up every year and doesn't quit the night it is -30. Doesn't require workers comp. a place to live, paid vacation and doesn't come with a wife that complains about the hours, pay and how far it is to the nearest Walmart.

It is called May and June.

I'll we quite now.

Might be by you, but here I have witnessed 14 inches of snow on the 3rd of May, far as the poster above I do not understand your problem with the blue calf warmer, do you leave the vent open so moisture can escape? I have mine in an open shed in April/ May had have used with temps down into at least the low teens and had no issues.
