N.E. OHIO | wanted to burn a stump, I got a 40 lb bag of nugget coal. made a pile on top of the stumop put half a bag of charcoal in middle of the coal to get started. use a can of lighter fluid to get it started. the charcoal burned but the coal would hardly ignite. i used a leaf blower to get it glowing and came back a couple hours later, most of the coal didnt burn and was almost out. what gives? we burned coal when i was a kid and dont renenber my dad having any trouble getting it lit.
