I would sell it and buy new. We feed a lot of round bales with a pitch fork every year to small pens. Just unwind it and fork it in. Usually a 4x5 round bale will feed a ewe for a winter.

Not sure what breed your looking for but have a group of polypays being bred right now. If you don't find anything.


Polypays are actually what I’m leaning towards. We rent land from a former sheep farmer who had Finn/Rambouillet crosses so he’s dealt with something similar to polys. Unfortunately he’s 30 years removed from raising them so I wouldn’t expect him to be super up to date, but he is a good and helpful resource.

I may actually be very interested in what you have as by the time they’re born I would be able to run them on our pasture instead of having to lamb and feed them in the dead of winter.
