It doesn’t have to be complicated as mentioned if the hay has a chance of being infected with toxoplas speak with a vet as to what can be done to stay ahead of it I give ewes 2 rounds of la200 or a similar product since we have had problems with it before. As far as feed good hay and 1-2 pounds of a feed mixed for ewes most feed dealers will be able to get you something or can custom mix something to meet the needs of a lactating ewe


I definitely agree, trying to avoid complicated. In our scenario pre-bagged feed would be the simplest/easiest to start. Hay is generally always quite easy to get in our area, so I’m never too worried about that.
