Southwest MN | How old of hay? If very old probably has cat piss/crap on it. Very good chance the ewes will get toxo plasmosis. Which one tablespoon of infected cat raccoon possum crap in 1 ton of grain can abort 100 ewes readily. Good alfalfa and a couple pounds of 13% grain mix will cover lactation. Most larger feed mills will have a bagged ration generally. Where are you located that helps with feed mill locations in my general area. | |
