Find low spots in line, dig it up and install a tee in line with a good curb stop valve to drain line. If you can daylight the drain pipe so you verify line is draining. If you daylight it in a wash or low spot. Put drain line into rocked trench or even use sewer dormers to create a place for water to drain off. All our summer us lines all have drains. I like to open drains while water is running to help use pressure to clean them out and assure no air locks from floats valves in troughs. Also time draining when moving cattle so they drink troughs empty.

All lines when installing them grade is considered before ripping lines in. To get maximum drainage when turned off.
