I have had Star Micronix, Epson, Canon, HP printers.  Finally bought a Brother and would buy another.  It works very good, shows which ink is low, prints on heavy paper, prints envelopes, prints 4x6 cards, is wireless. Brother tech support is excellent and it comes with a lot of useful software.

My particular model is MFC-J870DW  there are newer models that are basically the same ones.
