Ehh. Apple (and probably others) can have you use your thumb print as a lock screen "key". I'd be more worried about how accurate the reader is. After a long day of wrenching, there is no telling what the condition of my palm print might be. But then, I suppose the people that excited about paying with a palm print don't do manual labor.
