West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
I wonder if being exposed to more direct sun on a everyday or even more frequent basis makes a person less likely to sunburn? Judging only by your posts, it appears you and your wife are possibly getting more exposure and more frequent year around exposure to the sun in recent years since fully retiring???

I know since my wife and I have been sneaking away during the winter for a week or two at varied times over the winter and staying somewhat sun tan year around, we (myself especially) do not seem to sunburn as easily as we did in the past. And we can be out in the sun longer before we feel the need to cover up.

Back in the day the first sunny, hot day in the spring/summer I would take my shirt off I would fry. And there was a time I only wore short pants to go swimming, my snow white legs would fry. Now that I wear short pants a lot more often, year around, my legs don't burn and they are no longer snow white...even during the winter.
