For me in the low used ones more problem than heavily used one and the biggest key seems to be keeping the air bladder properly filled. Putting a bigger tank on my heavy used one has stretched its life to years instead of months. No idea how many years because it’s been eight and I’ve had no problems with it since putting a 60 gallon tank on it
