Subject: RE: Wetlands decision

Higginsville, MO
Wetlands are mostly considered low lying areas that have natural formed impressions in the ground that hold bodies of water for most of the year. This discussion is tough on what can be done if its a true wetland. What happens if everyone drains and tiles all of them and there are none left? Then what? It will effect the local ecosystem, and as farmers we need to have some conservation to preserve things like wetlands. Even though it might be great farm ground.
