NE of Des Moines | I can almost understand how you feel about the care given to you Mom.
I realize that everyones situation is different.
My wife was transfered to hospice when the hospital could not help her anymore. My wife was going down hill and was not going to get any better.
The ladies at the hospice house were great and very kind. I could not do what they do.
The lady that helped us fill out all the paper work explained what all they do to help their patients, she made us feel comfortable with the decision that we had made.
She also told us that as in my wife's case their main concern was patient comfort and care for the time remaining.
The people working at a hospice house are very special in my mind, I could not even begin to do what they do. | |
