I use a gas powered transfer pump to pump water for my cows when they're in one of my pastures. https://www.theisens.com/products/7-hp-264-gpm-water-transfer-pump/
It takes less than 10 minutes to fill a thousand gallon tank.
The suction hose is about 25 ft long and has a screen on the end that I throw out into the pond. The discharge hose id the flexible kind that you can roll up.


Ever have any troubles with moss or anything?
