When the moss or algae gets really bad it can plug up the screen. Keeping the screen a couple of feet under water helps.


I guess that was my next question as it seems like a foot or 2 under the water and there's no vegetation really. I think this is the route i'll go i'd never looked into the things that closely but am shocked at how many gallons per minute they'll do i thought it'd be the kind of thing i'd have to set it up then go do something else for an hour before my tank's full. think this is the route i'll go helps justify buying one since i always wanted want to irrigate the garden guess it gives me an excuse to get one
