In my experience private industry doesn’t know what to do with an ex-teacher since they do all their assigned work for the day in the first 2 hours and then wonder why everyone else can’t get theirs done, as they are used to living work life on a schedule with tight turn-arounds.  So something self-paced is good where they aren’t road-blocked by the inaction of others.
