I know some on a low carb diet are looking for alternative recipes for some variety so here is a good one.
Wife makes variations of this using different spices. Taco spice works good.
She substituted pork rind panko (ground up pork rinds) for the almond flour. She doesn't like almond flour all that well. Here is the recipe she used.

Single pan dish. Brown the hamburger in the cast iron frying pan, season, pour on topping, bake in oven to cook the top.
