He was a major influence four years ago when wife and I decided to quit using the vegetable/seed oils. It breaks my heart because I am a soybean grower and I would prefer to use a product from my own production. But my health is even more important to me.
Wether or not you believe him or his interpretation of the studies he references, I will leave up to you. I think it is at least worth listening to him and considering what he claims. It is not mainstream medicine or nutrition belief generally speaking, although claims of the health benefits of vegetable oils have mostly been droped from advertising. No fanfare or retractions, just quitetly dropped.
