I think it is a number of things, farmers are strarting to see that cash flows may get stretched if commodities continue to weaken. I think dealers are also trying to get out of inventory that may not be quite as easy to sell as they see leaner times ahead. And quite frankly if you are borrowing a lot of money, and have too much equipment you still can sell off some unwanted stuff and be okay. I think dealers have backed in their trade allowances as the more experienced ones have been down this road before.Goal is not to end up with lot full and market below what you have in it. What normally happens is higher hr or rough stuff starts cheapening the most first as demand stars to wane. Very nice clean mfd tractors will be last to cheapen. There is still alot of money in farmers hands but easy money probably shaken out, other guys eying 5-5 1/2 cd money and thinking they will wait where this all goes.
