Had an IH chest freezer quit in my basement winter ‘07. Parents had lowered it into basement before house was set. Took kid off, then hacked into pieces to pack up the stairs. Worst was the compressor end, I’d bet that weighed 100#. The rest wasn’t easy either; 6” thick and soaked with 50 yrs of frost accumulation
