Virginia, Northern Neck		Yes, those old IH chest freezers might have been some of the best, most efficient machinery ever produced.

They will run forever, similar to those old tractors some of us use every day.

If it is paid for and running, the cost of energy to keep it running is not significant, especially if it runs forever.
