Subject: RE: Old freezer removal

Windom, MN
Back in the 1990s I remember taking the old freezer out of our basement that was likely placed when the house was built because it was wider than the door. No idea how old it was, but the compressor was on the outside separate of the chest. There were seams in the sheet metal, so we actually hit ours with a sledge to bust it up. I hope there is a floor drain close. I don't know how many gallons of water came out of it once we busted a seam the water gushed out of it. Fortunately it was in our furnace room which had a drain so it all just ran there. I don't remember any lines in it, just busted it up into manageable pieces and hauled it up the stairs.
