Ukraine was already at war killing Russians since 2014, that have lived there for decades and making the Russian language illegal to speak. That is why McCain went over there in 2014 to set the stage,  Putin was just trying to save his people there. If Russia wanted to wipe out Ukraine he would of done it already.
