Subject: RE: Confusion with USB Stick Formats

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Speaking of USB C connections, these troublesome Chinese USB sticks have the usual USB A connector on one end and the C type connector on the other. I realize this does not imply a faster speed.

My Silverado has both types of USB connectors. I have a USB C cable to Apple lightning which works fine for my iPhone 8. I have a regular USB A to Apple lightning cable which also works fine with the iPhone 8.

The troublesome Chinese USB sticks (see below) with both types are not recognized when tried with either connector in the Silverado. The Silverado works fine with other USB sticks formatted as FAT.
