Michigan | Usually treat my Dad and myself twice a year with Liver and onion dinner.( mom made it often when I was a kid), Season flour with salt and pepper, slice liver around 1/4 - 3/8 thick. Place 4-3 Tsp of butter into a cast iron pan and cook onions till soft. Remove onions and add more butter as needed, dredge liver in seasoned flour mix, fry a couple minutes on both sides till pink is gone, don’t over cook!
Serve liver and onions with mashed potatoes and gravy, excellent dinner, definitely a treat here!
Wife and kids won’t even try it, lol. | |
