Not sure how much detail you're looking for.
All our equipment (corn planter, grain drill, combine heads) are set up on 15', except for sprayer which is 45' (as we're STO's).
The two 15" skips on the drill, match tire spacing on our tractor and sprayer.
Plant corn using markers, then following year follow cornstalk rows with the drill (don't use GPS for either planting corn or drilling beans). But we do use the drill markers on wheat, as no cornstalk rows left to follow.
Every 3rd pass, we turn off two of the 24 rows on the drill to make a pair of 15" skips rather than normal 7.5" (actually don't shut the seed off altogether but divert it to adjacent rows).
We control the skips electrically, and only make the tramlines where we need them to be for the 45' sprayer on every 3rd pass, and solid seed the other 2 passes of each set of three.
When spraying we do use WAAS GPS as a doublecheck to jump over 45' from previous pass, but then once we get lined up in the skips we just follow the skips and not pay attention to GPS until we get to the next end when we re-set the GPS, jump over another 45', and do it again.
It does help if the guy that does the spraying, is the same guy that plants (which is our case).

If we had a 60' sprayer with 15' equipment, not sure it would work as well as we'd be straddling drill passes with the sprayer (depending on how straight we could drive ... could depend on guess row width).
Would be more advantageous with our 15' equipment, if we wanted a bigger sprayer to jump up to 75' instead of current 45'.
