I've done 60' booms with the spray coupe years ago and it still paid and my guess is it will for your too.  I'd probably hire someone w/90's or120's and if they are charging under 10 an acre you aren't losing much of anything.  I have no issues w/a plane and have them go where they can for where i farm.  R3 beans are not popping back up if you run over them....they'll most likely be fine where you just pushed them.
