Fontanelle, IA		Felt recoil vs weight.

Weight of 150 rounds of ammo - 223 less wt per round vs 308 etc

Cost per round to buy/manufacture

55 grain FMJ doesn’t punch through brick walls/houses like heavier wt calibers…. More civilian friendly with errant shots?
