| Why do we keep trusting salesman? I bought a tractor @14 years ago. Researched known issues…
Called talked to salesman. “Nope no issue”. I got @150 miles away few weeks later. (That still there should have been red flag) test drove it, looked over. It worked great, but @35F couldn’t test AC. That I was assured it worked.
One issue. Axles cut . Last owner hit stuff with extended axles, so he cut them. But as strait tillage, I thought there was enough for duals with main tight. (Barely worked)
They delivered month later. On way to get new tires, duals I made it two miles. Exactly the issue I had been assured was not a problem. “But micro switches in pouch behind seat”. Of tractor with no issues. Existing switches fine. $500 circuit board smoked. AC lasted 4 minutes.
Took me two years of redneck diagnosis before I checked voltage. 20v at idle. 12 volt system. Rebuilt alt. Electric boards frying ended.
Dash voltage gauge low “normal” zone, light seemed normal… | |
