Nw Iowa | That’s why it is hard to figure rental rate, no two sheds alike. A basic 20$ a sq ft today would probably have no eves, no power doors and no floor. Would have been less than half 7-8 yrs ago. Doesn’t take much to get to 30$ a sq ft. I used 20$ as only a example. The problem is for storing hay you don’t need a fancy building, sometimes a open sided or partial open may be preferred. The other problem is most guys that are renting out sheds have older sheds that they built 30 yrs ago as they are retired and sold their machinery. So asking what shed rental should be is a fairly open question.
