Exactly. On June 10th it was a muddy mess in the corn fields, June 13th it was dry enough to get the spreader truck on the fields and sidedress, planted beans 13th thru the 15th. Walked corn fields on the 17th and we had 1/2” cracks 4” deep, top 3” of soil were bone dry. Corn was almost shoulder high and rolled up like pineapple. We can go from a flood to a drought about as fast as the water runs off the fields.
