Your tiles are running means you have subsoil moisture. You have 36 DAYS of water in the profile…what the hell are you worried about?

I put 3/4 of an inch on corn that is in super sandy soils. Pivot went over it Sunday. It was rolling a little today. Your dryland will outyield my irrigated. Stop worrying. The term “flash drought” or a 4 day “drought” kinds pisses me off and there are guys way worse off than me west of here.

If we had those conditions right now, topdress rigs and airplanes flying urea on would run like crazy.
