Subject: Planting beans in soil with little to no moisture

Stoddard Co. SEMO
Got a farm that has little to no moisture. Had ruts from last years harvest so ground has been tilled, with good seed bed. Not calling for any rain in the next week to ten days. If I were to plant, how deep should I go, to protect them from daytime high temps?
