Maybe not "lucky", maybe different soils . Ive replanted several times when going 2 inches on beans "here". The seedbeds in this area can turn into graveyards rather quickly . A week ago last Monday we had 1 planter set at 3/4 , 1 at 1 inch and 1 at 1.5 . We had almost 3 inches of rain Tuesday , guess which 1 I did not have to replant behind .
