My dad always said if you see a few beans here and there on top of the ground they are deep enough. Ever notice the beans you spill on top of the ground when filling the planter come up as well as the ones in the ground?

In the winter. Climates alot different in NEMO compared to the bootheel. So much so, we should be a different state. When we spill beans on top of the ground, this time of year they either bake or melt.
