Eastern Nebraska | We currently are running a Raven Smart Steer setup on this MX200 on WAAS using a Raven Cruizer. We plant corn with it and are fairly happy with the results but still run a marker and have to babysit it quite a bit by nudging line when we turn around and sometimes it seems to have a mind of its own. We are to the point where we'd like to go to something more accurate. I know everyone is going to say it won't work that great with a 2wd tractor but that's what we have right now and with the tractor prices where they we can't upgrade just yet. I think that a steering valve is the way to go as I'm tired of things that attach to the steering wheel for auto steer. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what we need? We have both AgLeader and Trimble dealers fairly close. Maybe find a pro 700? Would like to find a used setup but I'm sure the steering valve and necessary wiring would almost have to be new. Any advice would be great. Thanks. | |
