I the tube picture there is another one attached with Zip Ties whats that one for? Also how much product or like actual N can you put down in the seed row? Or do you apply N after or before you seed?

I have the dry fert. boxes and put down about a 100lbs of 46-0-0- with cereals + P and K so it makes for lots of fills!
