I have a Norge from 1954 that is still going strong in the basement, was picking up part for washing machine and asked guy working on newer refrigerators what goes wrong with them and he said the coils and tubes are made so thin that they develope pin holes in them after awile.
Is 50 years old for a Freezer ?
