WCIN
Don't be scared of it. May use more energy, but what is the value of the products you have in it?

15 yrs ago or so, I bought a 23 cu ft, and it died.......lost it all. They fixed it twice and that didn't work. I have 3 smaller ones now.

Can't beat R-12. My mothers 1972 14 cu ft freezer must weigh 350# empty.

My newer ones are with indoor/outdoor thermometers on the wall. I'll see them heating up.

All the eggs in on basket, can't pay. Been there.
