Subject: Re: planting in stripper header stubble

We have run a stripper head for almost ten years and have almost no trouble planting in to the stubble. Our planter has only a fertilizer coulter two inchs to the side. Then just the row unit. We used to use a 955 planter now a 1250 works really well.
