The farmer in my area is running a 24 row and a 36 row in addition to the 48! My neighbor is running 2- 36's and is only getting about 700 acres a day, I get about 120 a day with my 8 row, so to me they should be getting no less than 1000- 1100( 72/8 x120= 1080). I would think there should be some economies of scale invovled as well, less turning, less stopping to fill, ect. I am glad I dont have all those headaches, I sure never pulled the hitch off my planter like the 48 row
